Wedding Screen Printing

How live printing played out at real weddings.

Three celebrations, three very different station plans. Here's what each couple wanted their guests to take home, and how the night ran.

Wedding guests gathered around a live printing press
Where the crowd gathers

Vineyard reception · 140 guests · Temecula

A late-summer vineyard wedding wanted a keepsake that matched the earthy palette. We ran one screen-print tee station in sage and cream with the couple's monogram, plus a short embroidery run reserved for the eight bridesmaids' robes during getting-ready photos. The tee station pressed steadily through dinner and the first dances; by cake, the keepsake wall was empty and nearly every guest had a shirt tied around their waist for the bonfire.

The plan

  • One tee press, three printing hours, single-color monogram on Comfort Colors crewnecks
  • Embroidery run of eight satin robes, stitched before the ceremony
  • Local — no travel fee

Desert welcome party · 90 guests · Palm Springs

For a two-day desert wedding, the couple used the Friday welcome party to hand out custom totes and hats. We printed canvas welcome totes on site as guests arrived, then opened a hat bar with woven patches carrying the wedding date. It set the tone for the weekend and gave out-of-town guests something to carry their pool gear in the next day.

The plan

  • Tote printing station at arrival, plus a Richardson 112 hat and patch bar
  • Two operators across a three-hour welcome party
  • $900 travel fee (outside the local radius)

Coastal after-party · 200 guests · Newport Beach

A large coastal reception wanted the printing to be the after-party's main event. We brought two tee presses to keep the line short and added a UV DTF sticker bar for tumblers. Once the formal dinner wrapped, both presses ran flat out — a glowing, busy corner of the party that guests kept circling back to.

The plan

  • Two tee presses running in parallel for a 200-guest crowd
  • UV DTF sticker bar for tumblers and phone cases
  • Four printing hours, local — no travel fee
Every one of these started with the same short conversation: the date, the venue, the guest count, and what the couple wanted guests to keep. Tell us yours and we'll sketch the plan.
